Photovoltaics
Ingot furnaces and PECVD systems run on machined graphite.
Every monocrystalline or polycrystalline ingot is grown inside a graphite heart: the furnace's thermal field — heaters, insulating sleeves, crucible supports — is graphite, and so are the boats that carry wafers through PECVD coating. We machine these parts to drawing, in grades that survive weeks at 1,400 °C.

Graphite keeps its strength and geometry over long cycles at extreme temperature — no warping, no creep surprises.
Purity
High-temperature purification brings ash content down to ppm levels, protecting silicon from contamination.
Machinability
Complex heater geometries, chucks and boats machine cleanly from isostatically pressed blocks.
